Junior A Lacrosse Returns to Medicine Hat!

Lacrosse fans, get ready! The highest level of Junior box lacrosse in Canada is coming back to the Hat!

Catch the Junior A Mountaineers and Junior A Raiders, two of Calgary’s premier programs, as they clash in a high-intensity exhibition matchup. This is Alberta’s fiercest Junior A rivalry, and both sides feature standout SALA alumni on their protected lists and rosters. Leading the way is Mountaineers Captain Jayden Richards, a proud SunDevils product, alongside Assistant Captain Kayden Yeaman, the 2025 Transition Player of the Year and a dedicated Drillers alumnus. The Mounties’ alumni ranks also include Tyson Sundholm, another proud SunDevils graduate and coach.

For those new to Junior A, this level is the WHL equivalent in lacrosse, showcasing the fastest, toughest, and most skilled athletes in the game.
